Introduction CrashMass (“the App”) is developed and owned by Acuity Metrix LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing transparency about how your data is used.

Information We Collect CrashMass does not collect, store, or share any personal information from users. The App uses:

  • Device Location (optional): With your permission, the App can access your current location to center the map when you press the Home button. Location data is used only temporarily within the App to display your position on the map. This data is not stored, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.

  • Local Database: The App includes a built-in read-only database containing public traffic safety and vehicle crash records (such as MassDOT IMPACT and FARS data) used to display markers on the map. This data is stored within the app package and is not user-specific.

How We Use Information Location information, if enabled, is used solely to display your position on the map. No personal data is collected, stored, analyzed, or shared.

Third-Party Services The App uses:

  • Google Maps SDK to display map tiles and markers. Google Maps may collect limited diagnostic or usage data in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. You can review it here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

No other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks are used in this App.

Data Storage and Retention The App does not store user data or send any information to external servers. All map and database functions occur locally on your device.
